The Price of Courage: Standing Against the Shadow of Executions in Iran

The images above represent those currently facing the imminent threat of execution and the weight of the regime’s repression.

Every day in Iran, the fight for fundamental human rights comes at a devastating cost. At Dare to Ask Now, we believe that behind every statistic is a human life, a family, and a story of stolen potential. Today, those stories carry a heavy weight.

A Heartbreaking Toll

We have received news of the execution of three more political prisoners: Mehdi Rasouli (25), Mohammadreza Miri (21), and Ebrahim Dowlatabadi. These young men were arrested during protests and sentenced to death following sham trials based on confessions extracted through torture.

Their lives were cut short not because of a crime, but because they dared to ask for a different future.

119 Weeks of Unwavering Resistance

Despite the regime’s attempts to silence dissent through brutality, the spirit of resistance remains unbroken. Inside the walls of Iran’s most notorious prisons, the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign continues to grow.

For 119 consecutive weeks, political prisoners across more than 56 prisons have launched hunger strikes every Tuesday. This collective act of defiance is a powerful reminder that while the regime may control their bodies, it cannot control their resolve.

Proof That Our Voices Matter

In the face of such darkness, it is easy to feel powerless. But your advocacy makes a tangible difference.

We recently celebrated a hard-won victory: the release of Maryam Akbari Monfared after 17 years of unjust imprisonment. Her freedom is a testament to the power of sustained legal pressure, international media attention, and the relentless advocacy of people like you. When we refuse to look away, lives are saved.

Our Mission: Advocacy and Action

Our mission at DareToAskNow.org is clear: to amplify the voices of the silenced, drive legal advocacy for those in the shadow of the noose, and mobilize a global community to demand freedom for all political prisoners in Iran.

We cannot do this without you. Here is how you can help today:

  • Stand With Us: Join or support the No-To-Execution-in-Iran rallies in your city.

  • Be Their Voice: Amplify the stories of the "No to Execution Tuesdays" hunger strikers on social media using the hashtag #NoExecutionIran.

  • Fuel the Fight: Donate to Dare to Ask Now. Your contributions directly fund our legal advocacy efforts and support the rallies that keep international pressure on the Iranian regime.

Your support is the lifeline that sustains this movement. Together, we can turn the tide of injustice and secure freedom for those who have sacrificed everything for liberty.
